The State of Florida is ranked 3rd in the country for human trafficking with the corridor between Miami and Tampa as the largest traffic route where people are being transported and utilized. The I-75 route and low profile towns along this route make it possible for traffickers to abduct, transport and utilize humans from all walks of life. Over 100,000 US children, 11 years old and up, are placed in dangerous, harmful situations in the form of prostitution, farm workers, household workers, drug mules and more.
